At Crowdfight we are committed to the protection of privacy and the correct use of personal data.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide information about the processing of personal data that Crowdfight carries out through this web page.

1. Who is the Person Responsible for processing your personal data?

Crowdfight is the person who has the title of Person Responsible for Processing.
You can contact us at contact@crowdfight.org or through any of our contact points found in our contacts.

2. For what purpose do we process the personal data collected through our Website?

The main objective of our organization is in order to be able to make our network of volunteers available to the different teams of researchers that request it and who send their questions or requests to us.

In order to be able to carry out this main objective, we must process personal data on our web page, for various purposes:

To collect the various requests that the research teams send to us to be processed.
To collect the requests for obtaining volunteers for their management.
Contact and handling information requests.
To keep our volunteers informed of the tasks to be carried out.
To conduct research and to create statistics.

3. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data? In other words, what condition authorizes us, or is the basis for us, to process your personal data?

The legal basis that authorizes us to process your data may vary:

in some cases it may be consent by the interested persons, such as for example when a web form is filled out. When processing is based on your consent, it shall mean that it is granted unequivocally, considering such provision of information to be a clear affirmative act on your part, which clearly shows such consent.
the legitimate interest of the Person Responsible (in the case of periodic sending of information to volunteers).

The provision of the data requested is mandatory because the data is essential to consider your request and/or to provide our services; if you do not provide it, we cannot meet your request or provide our services.

5. How long do we keep your personal data?

The personal data will be kept for the time indicated to consider the purpose of the communication and, in those cases in which it is based on consent, to the extent that such consent has not been revoked.
On the other hand, in order to keep the data updated, please communicate to us any change of the data by electronic mail to contact@crowdfight.org

6. Who might receive transfers, or who might be recipients of your personal data?

The personal data will not be transferred or communicated to third parties except in those cases necessary to handle the question or request for assistance made and in the cases set forth according to Law. Anonymized versions of our database may be published or shared for research purposes.

If filling out a form made through the tools provided by Google, we inform you that it involves an international transfer of data to Google LLC for the provision of the service, based on a Decision for adequacy by the European Commission (Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/1250 by the Commission, of July 12, 2016, in accordance with Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, on the adequacy of protection conferred by the EU-US privacy Shield.

7. What are your rights to data protection and how can you exercise them?

Any interested party may exercise the following data protection rights.

Right to request access to personal data with respect to the interested party
Right to request correction or deletion of personal data
Right to request limitation of its processing
Right to challenge processing
Right to portability of the data

The interested party may exercise such rights by making a written request, with an attached photocopy of their (Documento Nacional de Identidad) [National Identification Document] or an equivalent identification document sent to contact@crowdfight.org. If the user is acting through a representative, legal or voluntary, the user shall also provide a document that proves the representation and an identification document of the representative.

If you believe that your right to personal data protection has been violated, you may file a claim witsh the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
